Ken began his insurance career in 1978 as a Crop Hail Underwriter with N.C. Farm Bureau during college and after graduating became a Commercial Underwriter. In 1982 he entered the agency side of the business in Greensboro, NC, and from there spent 26 years as a Commercial Agent with BB&T Insurance and CountyBanc Insurance Services.
He joined Adams Eaddy & Associates in 2016 as the President of the agency. Ken also served as the Chairman of the Board for the South Carolina Independent Agents and Brokers for two years (2014 and 2015). In 2017, he was awarded the Barney Burns IIABA National Award for his work for InsurPAC and was recognized as the Haynes P. Glover Agent of the Year by IIABSC. In addition, he also serves on the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Dispute Resolution Committee. In his spare time, Ken enjoys building custom fishing rods and surf fishing at the North Carolina Outer Banks.
